Frequency division ratio of n> 4 circuit is often achieved by counter (for example a preset counter), which is generally without the need to combine a single FF. The output duty cycle of the following divider circuit is 50%. It can be formed by D-FF or JK-FF. The JK-FF divider circuit tends to achieve a parallel and synchronous work easily. So such circuits can be suitable for high frequency applications.
