This device uses self-oscillation method. The transistor BG1-4, BG5-8 and T1, T2, D1 and R1 make up a high-frequency self-oscillation device. The T1's secondary output signals are high-frequency high-voltage pulses and then these pulses would be changed to DC high voltage by the doubler rectifier circuit which is made up by D1, D2, C1 and C2. And then it would input to the back stage. The back stage uses the SCR output circuit. It is a low-frequency oscillator circuit made by capacitor C6, SCR Q1, bidirectional trigger diode D5 and coil T3. This circuit would change the DC high-voltage signals to low-frequency pulses mode for output. The JP4 in the picture can be connected to a potentiometer to adjust back stage's discharge frequency. The JP5 can be connected to the high-voltage and low-voltage switch.

Because the ultrasonic wave features that it would not be influenced by the concentration and conductivity of the tested liquid, this circuit would have better and higher accuracy than normal contacted liquid level displaying circuit.
The ultrasonic wave transmitter circuit is made up by 555, R1, W1, C1 and ultrasonic transmitter head UCM40T. The ultrasonic receiving circuit is made up by the receiving head UCM40R which is corresponding to the transmitter head, cascaded amplifier BG1 and BG2 and the detecting circuit. When the liquid level close the receiving head, the voltage meter's deflection angle would gain. And the closer to the liquid level, the bigger the corresponding deflection angle would be.

In the circuit in the picture, the R1, R2 would divide the W723's reference voltage (about 7.2V) to about 3V and then add it into the in-phase input port. Also the resistance R3, R4 would divide the reference voltage to add into the out-phase input port. The R4's low port is connected with the current-divider resistance R5. When the out-phase input and in-phase input are nearly balanced, the current-divider resistance R5's voltage drop would be about 1V. R6 is used to adjust the limiting value of output ripple current.

In analog system, the LED's linearity is required highly. But the linearity is different for different LED and the linearity would change as the temperature changing. This control circuit's LED driver and signal-amplifier circuit can keep the LED's linearity. The amplifier uses a couple of complementary transistors Q1 and Q2 for using to further reduce the secondary distortion. By the R1, R2 and C1's feedback it provides a 75Ω input resistance. The amplifier would send the input signal to a couple complementary driver and the driver's collector polar would output AC coupled signal on the LED.
