The system uses 3V lithium battery (e), C1 and C2 are power supply decoupling capacitors. Crystal oscillator's frequency selects 32. 768kHz. External memory uses two 512-byte-24C04 E2PROMs. Silicon pressure sensor is shown in the dashed box. It can use temperature compensation software to get measurement accuracy and 12-bit ADC pressure value. Analog lines in the figure is connected to USDD-end, the sensor can only get power supply in a/d conversion, and it can save electricity consumption of the entire system.   (View)

In Figure 1, photosensitive resistor RD and time base circuit 5G1555 form the brightness recognition part. when the it is black to a certain extent, photosensitive resistor RD's resistance increases, 5G1555 ② foot potential is less than 1/3Vcc ≈ 2.1V, ③ foot outputs a high potential, BG2 and BG3 are cut off, J2 releases. A basic full wave rectified power supply is shown below. The transformer is chosen according to the desired load. For example, if the load requires 12V at 1amp current, then a 12V, 1 amp rated transformer would do. However, when designing power supplies or most electronic circuits, you should always plan for a worst case scenario. With this in mind, for a load current of 1 amp a wise choice would be a transformer with a secondary current rating of 1.5 amp or even 2 amps. Allowing for a load of 50% higher than the needed value is a good rule of thumb. The primary winding is always matched to the value of the local electricity supply.   (View)

This is an experimental 60khz direct conversion receiver for reception of the UK MSF Time Signal from Anthorn, Cumbria. (The mast array can be seen on the right hand image.) For continued stability, the radio should be continuously supplied from a +13.8v bench power supply. This is a small battery operated Tracking transmitter which broadcasts a repeating radio signal which can be detected by a directional antenna. The transmitter broadcasts an isotropic (radiates in all directions) signal on the FM band.
