RV4140AN General Description

The RV4140AN is one kind of RV4140A family which designed as the low power controller for AC outlet appliance leakage circuit interrupters. It detects hazardous current paths to ground such as an appliance falling into water. The interrupter then open circuits the line before a harmful or lethal shock occurs.

Features of the RV4140AN are:(1)powered from the ac line; (2)built-in bridge rectifier; (3)direct interface to scr; (4)350 A quiescent current; (5)adjustable trip current; (6)adjustable time delay; (7)minimum external components; (8)meets ul 943 requirements; (9)specifically for two-wire systems; (10)for use with 110v or 220v systems.
