The TMP87C408M is designed as high speed and high performance 8-bit single chip microcomputers to operate on low voltage and low power consumption which contains ROM, RAM, input / output ports, multi-function timer / counter, a serial interface, and 8-bit A/D converter.
It has many features. The first one is 8-bit single chip microcomputer TLCS-870 series. The second one is minimum instruction execution time is 0.5us at 8MHz. The third one is 129 types & 412 basic instructions. The fourth one is 10 interrupt sources (external 4 and internal 6). The fifth one is input / output ports (22 pins). The sixth is two 16-bit timer / counters. The seventh one is time base timer. The eighth one is divider output function. The ninth one is watchdog timer. The tenth one is one 8-bit serial interface. And so on. That are the main features.
Some absolute maximum ratings have been concluded into several points as follow. The first one is about its supply voltage which would be from -0.3V to 6.5V. The second one is about its input voltage which would be from -0.3v to Vdd+0.3V. The third one is about its output voltage which would be from -0.3v to Vdd+0.3V. The fourth one is about its output current (per 1 pin) which would be 3.2mA for P1, P6 and would be 15mA for P7 at low level and would be -1.8mA for P1, P6, P7 at high level. The fifth one is about its output current total which would be 50mA for P1, P6 and 60mA for P7 at low level and would be 30mA for P1, P6, P7 at high level. The sixth one is about its power dissipation which would be 300mW for SDIP and would be 180mW for SOP. The seventh one is about its input current which would be +/-1mA. The eighth one is about its soldering temperature which would be 260°C (10s). The ninth one is about its storage temperature range which would be from -55°C to 125°C. The tenth one is about its operating temperature range which would be from -30°C to 70°C. It should be noted that the absolute maximum ratings are rated values which must not be exceeded during operation, even for an instant. Any one of the ratings must not be exceeded. And so on.
