The TMP82C54P-2 TMP82C54M-2 (hereafter called the TMP82C54) is a low power CMOS general-purpose programmable timer/counter.
Here you can get some information about some features.First,The pin is compatible with the TMP82C53P-2 (TMP82C54P-2).Secondly,it consists of 3 independent 16-bit counters to implement high-speed counting.Thirdly,the count data read is available.Fourthly,the status read is available.Fifthly,it contains six programmable counter modes.Sixthly,it has binary/decimal count selection.Seventhly,it has high speed operation.The clock input can be up to 10 MHz.The eighth one is that it has low power dissipation which is 300 mA max. in operation and 10 A max.The ninth one is that it has extended operating temperature which is from -40 to 85.The last one is that the power supply voltage is 5V±10%.
What comes next is about the maximum ratings.The VCC (supply voltage) is from -0.5 to +7.0 V.The VIN (input voltage) is from -0.5 to VCC+0.5 V.The VOUT (output voltage) is from -0.5 to VCC+0.5 V.The PD (power dissipation) is 250 mW.The Tsol (solder temperature) is 260 (10 sec) .The Tstg (storage temperature) is from -65 to 150.The Topr (operating temperature) is from -40 to +85.
The following is about the DC characteristics (TA=-40 to +85,VCC=5V±10%,VSS(GND)=0V).The minimum VIL (input low voltage) is -0.5 V and the maximum is 0.8 V.The minimum VIH (input high voltage) is 2.2 V and the maximum is VCC+0.5 V.The maximum VOL (output low voltage) is 0.45 V at IOL=2.2mA.The minimum VOH1 (output high voltage) is 2.4 V at IOH=-400 A.The minimum VOH2 (output high voltage) is VCC-0.8 V at IOH=-100 A.The maximum IIL (input leak current) is ±10 A at 0VVINVCC.The maximum IOFL (output leakage current) is ±10 A at 0.45VVOUTVCC.The maximum ICC1 (operating supply current) is 30 mA at CLK=10 mhZ,VIH=VCC-0.2V and VIL=0.2 V.The maximum ICC2 (stand-by supply current) is 10 A at CLK=DC,VIH=VCC-0.2V and VIL=0.2 V.
