The QS3384 is designed as quickswitch products high speed CMOS 10-bit bus switches which provide a set of ten high speed CMOS, TTL compatible bus switches. Its typical applications include hot-swapping, hot-docking, voltage translation, power conversation, capacitance reduction and isolation, bus isolation and clock gating.
It has many features. The first one is enhanced N channel FET with no inherent diode to Vcc. The second one is 5 bidirectional switches connect inputs to outputs. The third one is zero propagation delay, zero ground bounce. The fourth one is undershoot clamp diodes on all switch and control pins. The fifth one is two enables control five bits each. The last one is available in TSSOP, SOIC, QSOP and HQSOP. That are all the main features.
Some absolute maximum ratings have been concluded into several points as follow. The first one is about its supply voltage to ground which would be from -0.5V to 7.0V. The second one is about its DC switch voltage which would be -0.5V to 7.0V. The third one is about its DC input voltage which would be from -0.5V to 7.0V. The fourth one is about its AC input voltage (for a pulse width <= 20ns) which would be -3.0V. The fifth one is about its DC output current max sink current/pin which would be 120mA. The sixth one is about its maximum power dissipation which would be 0.5W. The last one is about its storage temperature range which would be from -65°C to 150°C. It should be noted that thses ratings are those values beyond which damage to the device may occur. Exposure to these conditions or conditions beyond those indicated may adversely affect device reliability. Functional operation under absolute maximum conditions is not imlied. And so on.
