The Q2220M-40L is a kind of direct digital synthesizer (DDS). The typical applications include portable communications terminals, radar and sonar systems, programmable frequency synthesizers, baseband transmitters and receivers, frequency hopping radios and digital signal processors. There are some features as follows. First is low-cost, high resolution 50 MHz direct digital synthesizer. The second is simple-to-use parallel frequency control interface. Then is compact 44-pin PLCC package. Next is selectable offset binary or two's complement output format. The fifth is low power CMOS technology. The sixth is 50 MHz Hop and Sweep Rate. The last one is thoughput delay which is 5 clock cycles.
What comes next is about the absolute maximum ratings. The VDD (supply voltage) is from -0.3 to +7.0 V. The voltage on any input pin is from -0.3 to VDD+0.3 V. The storage temperature is from -65 to +150. The operating temperature is from -55 to +125.
The following is about the DC characteristics. The minimum VDD (supply voltage) is 4.5 V, the typical is 5.0 V and the maximum is 5.5 V. The minimum VIL (input low voltage) is 0 V and the maximum is 0.8 V. The minimum VIH (input high voltage) is 2.0 V and the maximum is VDD V.
