PD101 General Description
PD101,the stanley photodarlington transistor, has three unique features: The first one is high photo current. The second one is high directivity. The third one is high reliability,long time life. At the same time, it also has four applications: The first one is photoelectric switch, photoelectric counter. The second one is position-rotation detection. The third one is tape and card readers.The last one is smoke detectors,safety and security systems.
There are some absolute maximum ratings about it. Collector dissipation(Pc) is 150 mW. Collector-emitter breakdown voltage(VCEO) is 20 V. Emitter-collector breakdown voltage(VECO) is 5 V. Collector current(Ic) is 50 mA. Operating temperature(Topr) is -30 to +125. Storage temperature(Tstg) is -30 to +150.Otherwise,there are also some electro-optical characteristics about it. Collector-emitter dark current(ICEO) is 1 uA max when VCEP is 10 V. Photo current(Ic) is 3 mA min and 15 mA typ when VCE is 5 V , Ee is 0.1 mW/cm2. Peak sensitivity wavelength is 800 nm when VCEi s 10 V , Ic is 2 mA and RL is 100 ohms. Collector-emitter saturation voltage (VCE(sat)) is 0.7 V typ when Ic is 5 mA and Ee is 10 mW/cm2.
