The Z0103MA1AA4 is designed as one member of the Z01 series. The Z01 series is suitable for general purpose AC switching applications. They can be found in applications such as home appliances (electrovalve, pump, door lock, small lamp control), fan speed controllers. Different gate current sensitivities are available, allowing optimized performances when controlled directly from microcontrollers.
This series has three features. (1) Its It(RMS) is 1A. (2) Its Vdrm / Vrrm would be 600 to 800V. (3) Its Igt is 3 to 25mA. That are all the main features.
Some absolute maximum ratings have been concluded into several points as follow. (1) Its RMS on-state current (fill sine wave) would be 1A. (2) Its non repetitive surge peak on-state current (full cycle, Tj= 25°C) would be 8A for F=50Hz and t=20ms and would be 8.5A for F=60Hz and t=16.7ms. (3) Its I2t value for fusing would be 0.35A2s for tp=10ms. (4) Its critical rate of rise of on-state current Ig= 2 x Igt, tr<=100ns would be 20A/us. (5) Its peak gate current would be 1A. (6) Its average gate power dissipation would be 1W. (7) Its storage junction temperature range would be from -40°C to +150°C. (8) Its operating junction temperature range would be from -40 to +125°C.
Also some electrical characteristics about it. (1) Its Igt would be 3mA with condition of Vd=12V and Rl=30. (2) Its Vgt would be 1.3V with condition of Vd=12V and Rl=30. (3) Its Vgd would be min 0.2V with condition of Vd=Vdrm, Rl=3.3k and Tj=125°C. (4) Its dV/dt would be min 10V/us with condition of Vd=67%Vdrm gate open Tj=110°C. (5) Its (dl/dt)c would be min 0.5A/ms.
And some static characteristics about it. (1) Its Vtm would be max 1.56V with condition of Itm=1.4A and tp=380us. (2) Its threshold voltage would be max 0.95V. (3) Its dynamic resistance would be max 400m. (4) Its Idrm would be max 5uA. (5) Its Irrm would be 0.5mA. And so on.
