The TLP747G is designed as toshiba photocoupler which consists of a photo-thyristor optically coupled to a gallium arsenide infrared emitting diode in a six lead plastic DIP.
It has five features. (1)peak off-state voltage would be min 400V. (2)Trigger LED current would be 15mA max. (3)On-state current would be max 150mA. (4)UL recognized UL1577, file No.E67349. (5)Isolation voltage is min 4000Vrms. Those are all the main features.
Some absolute maximum ratings have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its forward current would be 60mA. (2)Its forward current derating would be -0.7mA/°C. (3)Reverse voltage would be 5V. (4)Its peak forward current would be 1A. (5)Its peak forward voltage would be 400V. (6)Its peak reverse voltage would be 400V. (7)Its on-state current would be 150mA. (8)Its on-state current derating would be -2.0mA/°C. (9)Its peak on-state current would be 3A. (10)Its peak reverse gate voltage would be 5V. (11)Its peak one cycle surge current would be 2A. (12)Its storage temperature range would be from -55°C to 125°C. (13)Its operating temperature range would be from -40°C to 100°C. (14)Its lead soldering temperature 10s would be 260°C. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.
Also some electrical characteristics are concluded as follow. (1)Its forward voltage would be min 1V and typ 1.15V and max 1.3V. (2)Its reverse current would be max 10uA. (3)Its capacitance would be typ 30pF. (4)Its off-state current would be typ 10nA and max 5000nA at Ta=25°C and would be typ 1uA and max 100uA at Ta=100°C. (5)Its reverse current would be typ 10nA and max 5000nA at Ta=25°C and it would be typ 1uA and max 100uA at 100°C. (6)Its on-state voltage would be typ 0.9V and max 1.3V. (7)Its holding current would be typ 0.2mA.
