SF300HX32 General Description
The SF300HX32 is designed for high power control applications.Before ordering, purchasers are advised to contact the Sensitron Semiconductor sales department for the latest version of the datasheet(s).In cases where extremely high reliability is required (such as use in nuclear power control, aerospace and aviation, traffic equipment,medical equipment, and safety equipment), safety should be ensured by using semiconductor devices that feature assured safety or by means of users' fail-safe precautions or other arrangement.
The SF300HX32 has the following features including:(1)repetitive peak off-state voltage:VDRM=5000 V ;(2)repetitive peak reverse voltage:VRRM=5000 V;(3)average on-state current:IT (AV)=300 A;(4)flat package;(5)critical rate of rise of on-state current:di/dt=100 A/s;(6)critical rate of rise of off-state voltage:dv/dt=500 V/s;(7)turn-off time:tq=400s(max).
The absolute maximum ratings of the SF300HX32 are:(1)repetitive peak off-state voltage and repetitive peak reverse voltage:5000 V;(2)storage temperature:-40 to 125;(3)average gate power dissipation:4 W;(4)peak reverse gate voltage:5V;(5)operating junction temperature range:-40 to 125;(6)R.M.S on-state crrent:470A;(7)average on-state current:500A;(8)peak gate power disspation:20W;(9)peak forward gate current:4A;(10)peak forward gate voltage:20V.The products described in this document are designed, developed and manufactured as contemplated for general use, including without limitation, ordinary industrial use, general office use, personal use, and household use, but are not designed, developed and manufactured as contemplated (1) for any use that includes fatal risks or dangers that, unless extremely high safety is secured, could have a serious effect to the public, and could lead directly to death, personal injury, severe physical damage or other loss (i.e., nuclear reaction control in nuclear facility, aircraft flight control, air traffic control, mass transport control, medical life support system, missile launch control in weapon system), or (2) for any use where chance of failure is intolerable (i.e., submersible repeater and artificial satellite).
