PE4210 General Description

      The PE4210 UltraCMOS™ RF Switch is designed for a wide range of applications from near DC to 3000 MHz. This single-supply switch integrates on-board CMOS control logic driven by a simple, single-pin CMOS or TTL compatible control input. With a nominal +3-volt power supply, a typical input 1 dB compression point of +14 dBm can be achieved. The PE4210 also exhibits input-output isolation of better than 35 dB at 1000 MHz and is offered in a small 8-lead MSOP package.The PE4210 UltraCMOS™ RF Switch is manufactured in Peregrine's patented Ultra Thin Silicon (UTSi®) CMOS process, offering the performance of GaAs with the economy and integration of conventional CMOS.
       It has six unique features. The first one is single 3-volt power supply. The second one is low Insertion loss: 0.30 dB at 1000 MHz,0.45 dB at 2000 MHz. The third one is high isolation of 35 dB at 1000 MHz,25 dB at 2000 MHz. The forth one is typical input 1 dB compression point of +14.5 dBm. The fifth one is single-pin CMOS or TTL logic control. The sixth one is packaged in a small 8-lead MSOP.
      There are also some electrical specifications (which is under the condition of +25 °C, VDD = 3 V (ZS = ZL = 50 ))about it . Operating Frequency1 is 3000 MHz max. Insertion Loss is 0.3dB typ , 0.4 dB max under the condition of 1000 MHz and 0.45 dB typ and 0.60 dB max under the condition of 2000 MHz. Return Loss is 22.5 dB min , 24.5 dB typ under the condition of 1000 MHz and 15 dB typ and 16 dB max under the condition of 2000 MHz.Video Feedthrough2 is 2.5mVpp.Input 1 dB Compression is 13 dBm and 14.5 dBm under the condition of 2000 MHz.
      At last , some absolute maximum ratings are given to you for better understanding . Power Supply Voltage(VDD) is -0.3 V min and 4.0 V max.Voltage on any input (VI) is -0.3 V min and VDD + 0.3 V max.Storage temperature range (TST) is -65°C min and150 °C max .Operating temperature range(TOP) is -40°Cmin and 85 °C max.Input power (50 )(PIN ) is 18 dBm. ESD Voltage (Human Body Model)(VESD) is 200 V.
