The iP1203 is a fully optimized solution for medium current synchronous buck applications up to 15 A.It includes full function PWM control,with optimized power semiconductor chipsets and associated passives, achieving high power density.Very few external components are required to creat a complete synchronous buck power supply.
Features of the iP1203 are:(1)5.5V to 13.2V input voltage; (2)0.8V to 8V output voltage; (3)15A maximum load capability; (4)200-400kHz nominal switching frequency; (5)over current hiccup; (6)external synchronization capable; (7)overvoltage protection; (8)over temperature protection; (9)internal features minimize layout sensitivity.
The absolute maximum ratings of the iP1203 can be summarized as:(1): VIN is -0.3 V min and 15 V max; (2): feedback(FB ) is -0.3 V min and 6 V max; (3): output overvoltage sense(FBS) is -0.3 V min and 6 V max; (4): PGOOD is -0.3V min and 15 V max; (5): soft start(SS) is -0.3 V min and 6 V max; (6): SYNC is -0.3 V min and 6 V max; (7): output rms current(IoutVSW) is 15 A max; (8): block temperature(TBLK) is -10°C min and 125 °C.
