FSP840 General Description
The FSP840 is designed as one kind of 5.15-5.85 GHz U-NII power amplifier that designed for use in transmit applications in the 5.15-5.85 GHz frequency band. This device can be used in 802.11a WLAN, hiperLAN/2 WLAN and U-NII fixed wireless equipment. Features of the FSP840 are:(1)25 dBm P1dB@3.3V;(2)23 dB gain;(3)3.0 % EVM @ POUT = +19 dBm with 54 Mbps OFDM signal;(4)175 mA @ Pout=+19 dBm with 54 Mbps OFDM signal;(5)single +3.3V supply voltage;(6)input matched to 50 ohms;(7)PA power on/off logic.
The specifications of the FSP840 can be summarized as:(1)frequency range:5150 to 5850 MHz;(2)output P1dB:25 dBm;(3)gain:23 dB (Pout=+19 dBm);(4)gain flatness:±0.5 dB;(5)spurious:-60 dBc/30 kHz;(6)reverse isolation:35 dB;(7)noise figure:7.5 dB;(8)input return loss:8 dB;(9)output return loss (with matching capacitor):11 dB.
And the absolute maximum ratings of the FSP840 can be summarized as:(1)DC power supply:6.0 V;(2)DC supply current:500 mA;(3)maximum RF input level:+6 dBm;(4)operating ambient temperature:-40 to +85 °C;(5)storage temperature:-55 to +150 °C.
