XE9624E

Xecom's XE9624E combines a 2400bps data modem(with MNP & V.42bis) and a group III 9600 bps Send/Receive facsimile in a compact form. The TTL level, serial interface allows for quick integration into virtually any new or existing design. The XE9624E contains all of the circuitry required for modem and facsimile operation, and includes a user transferable FCC Part 68 registration, allowing direct connection to the telephone line. The XE9624E provides computer and industrial systems manufacturers with a complete, highly integrated, compact solution for adding data and fax communication to their product.

The XE9614 has its own characteristics. Here lists some of its important features. The first one is: the supported protocols are CCITT V.22bis, V.23, V.22, V.21, Bell 212A and 103, CCITT V.29, V.27ter, and V.21 channel 2. The second one is: FAX send and receive facsimile to 9600bps. The third one is: error control(V.42 LAPM and MNP 2,3,4,10). The fourth one is: data compression(V.42bis and MNP5). The fifth one is: the fax & data modem control commands are enhanced "AT" command set,  fax class 1 and fax class 2 (proposed EIA/TIA 592). The sixth one is: speed buffering .The seventh one is: single +5V supply.. And the last one is: low power CMOS, is 480mW when operating while 30mW when in sleep mode.

The XE9624E has some telephone line interface specifications. The type value of telephone line impedance match is 600ohms, the minimum of ring detect sensitivity is 38 Vrms, and the minimum of the telephone line holding current is 20mA, while the maximum is 100mA and the minimum is 0mA.

Next are the characteristics of power supply of the XE9624E. Its has three parameters. The  supply voltage is between 4.5 and 5.5 V, and the type value is 5.0V. The Vcc supply current's type value is 50mA, and its maximum is 80mA. And the type value of power down current is 6.0mA, while 12mA is its maximum.
