XE9614

Xecom's XE9614 combines a 14.4 Kbps V.32 bis data modem, 14.4 Kbps group III Send/Receive fax modem and DAA into a highly compact device.The TTL level, serial interface allows for quick integration into virtually any system. The XE9614 comes ready for immediate modem and fax operation with user transferable FCC Part 68 registration, for direct connection to the Public Switched Telephone Network(PSTN). The XE9614 provides industrial systems manufacturers with a complete, highly integrated, compact solution for adding high-speed data and fax.

The XE9614 has its own characteristics. Here lists some of its important features. The first one is: small size 1.38"*2.75"*0.42", 40 pin module. The second one is:compact V.32bis/MNP5/MNP10/V.42bis data modem with 14.4 kbps send/receive class 1 & 2 fax modem. The third one is:MNP5/V.42 bis allows for up to 4:1 data compression. The fourth one is:14.4 kbps group 3 facsimile with fall back speeds of 12000 bps, 9600, 7200, 4800 & 2400bps. The fifth one is: the supported protocols are CCITT V.32bis, V.32, V.29, V.27ter, V.22, V.21, V.17, Bell 212A, 103. The sixth one is: FCC Part 68 registration, user transferable. The seventh one is: +5V supply, 600mW operational power, 30mW in sleep mode. The eighth one is: industry standard "AT" data & "AT" fax class 1 and class 2 commands. And the last one is: programmable audio output and call progress monitoring.

The XE9614 has some telephone line interface specifications. The type value of telephone line impedance match is 600ohms, the minimum of ring detect sensitivity is 38 Vrms, and the minimum of the telephone line holding current is 30mA, while the maximum is 100mA and the minimum is 0mA.

Next are the characteristics of power supply of the XE9614. Its has three parameters. The  maximum of  supply voltage is 5.25 V, and the type value is 5.0V. The Vcc supply current's type value is 120mA, and its maximum is 150mA. And the type value of power down current is 6.0mA, while 10mA is its maximum.
