VSP3000Y

The VSP3000Y is designed as a complete, three-channel image signal processor for charge coupled device (CCD) or contact image sensor (CIS) systems. Each channel contains sensor signal sampling, black Level adjustment and a programmable gain amplifier. The three inputs are multiplexed into a high speed, 12-bit analog-to-digital converter. Typical applications include CCD and CIS color scanners, fax and multi-function machines and industrial / medical imaging systems.

VSP3000Y has eight features. (1) 12-bit, 6MHz A/D converter.; (2) Guaranteed no missing codes. (3) 3 channel, 2MHz color scan mode: correlated double samplers, 8-Bit offset adjustment DACs, 0dB to +13dB PGAs. (4) A/D input monitor. (5) Internal voltage reference. (6) Single +5V supply. (7) 3V or 5V digital output. (8) Low power: 475mW typ (3-CH mode). That are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings of VSP3000Y have been concluded into several points as follow. (1) Its Vdda, Vddd,Vdrv would be +6V. (2) Its analog input would be from (-0.3V) to (+Vdda + 0.3V). (3) Its logic input would be from (-0.3V) to (+Vddd + 0.3V). (4) Its case temperature would be +100°C. (5) Its junction temperature would be +150°C. (6) Its storage temperature would be max +150°C. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to the device.

Also some specifications about VSP3000Y. (1) Its resolution would be typ 12bits. (2) Its specified temperature range would be from typ 0 to +85°C. (2) Its conversion characteristics would be min 6MHz for 3-channel CDS mode and would be min 6MHz for 3-channel CIS mode. (3) Its full-scale input range min 0.5Vpp and max 3.5Vpp. (4) Its input capacitance would be typ 10pF. (5) Its input limits would be min GNDa-0.3V and max Vdda+0.3V. And so on.
