Description

The USC1841-BI-P20 is designed as one kind of universal semiconductors which contains four 8 bit digital to analog converters (DAC), with output amplifiers and digital interface logic and storage for each DAC. Full specified performance is achieved without trim. The chip contains 8-bit latches for each of four DACs. Data transfer is over a common 8 bit bus into the four ports/latches. Lines A0 and A1 determine which port is loaded when WR* goes low. Each DAC has an output buffer capable of driving 5mA.

USC1841-BI-P20 has five features. (1)Four 8-bit voltage output DACs. (2)Microprocessor peripheral. (3)TTL/CMOS compatible. (4)Single 5 to 15V supply. (5)3us settling time typical. Those are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings of USC1841-BI-P20 have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its DC supply voltage would be 18V. (2)Its logic input voltage would be from Vdgnd-0.3V to Vdd+0.3V. (3)Its Vref would be from Vss to Vdd. (4)Its Idd supply would be 20mA max. (5)Its operating temperature range would be from -25°C to 85°C for industrial and would be from -55°C to 125°C for military. (6)Its storage temperature range would be from -65°C to 150°C. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.
