Description

The TLC354ID is designed as linCMOSE quadruple differential comparators which consists of four independent differential voltage comparators, each is designed to operate from a single power supply.Operation from dual supplies is also possible if the difference between the two supplies is 1.4 V to 18 V. Each device TLC354ID features extremely high input impedance, which allows direct interface to high-impedance sources.

TLC354ID has eleven features. (1) Single- or dual-supply operation. (2) Wide range of supply voltages 1.4V to 18V. (3) Very low supply current drain which would be 300mA typ at 5V and 130mA typ at 1.4V. (4) Built-in ESD protection. (5) High input impedance which would be 10^12 W typ. (6) Extremely low input bias current 5pA typ. (7) Ultrastable low input offset voltage. (8) Input offset voltage change at worst-case input conditions typically 0.23mV / month, including the first 30 days. (9) Common-mode input voltage range includes ground. (10) Outputs compatible with TTL, MOS, and CMOS. (11) Pin-compatible with LM339. That are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings of TLC354ID have been concluded into several points as follow. (1) Its supply voltage, VDD would be 18V. (2) Its differential input voltage would be ±18V. (3) Its input voltage would be VDD. (4) Its input voltage range would be from -0.3V to 18V. (5) Its output voltage would be 18V. (6) Its input current would be ±5mA. (7) Its output current would be 20mA. (8) Its duration of output short circuit to ground would be unlimited. (9) Its operating free-air temperature range would be from -40°C to 85°C. (10) Its storage temperature range would be from -65°C to 150°C. (11) Its lead temperature 1,6 mm (1/16 inch) from case for 10 seconds would be 260°C.
