TDA8595

The TDA8595 is designed as one kind of complementary quad Bridge Tied Load (BTL) audio power amplifier device that contains four independent amplifiers in BTL configuration.

Features of the TDA8595 are:(1)Drive 4 or 2 loads; (2)Speaker fault detection; (3)Independent short-circuit protection per channel; (4)Loss of ground and open VP safe (with 150 m series impedance and a supply decoupling capacitor of 2200 mF maximum); (5)All outputs short-circuit proof to ground, supply voltage and across the load; (6)All pins short-circuit proof to ground; (7)Temperature-controlled gain reduction to prevent audio holes at high junction temperatures; (8)Low battery voltage detection; (9)Offset detection; (10)This part has been qualified in accordance with AEC-Q100.etc.

The absolute maximum ratings of the TDA8595 can be summarized as:(1)supply voltage: 8 to 18 V;(2)quiescent current: 270 to 400 mA;(3)standby current: 4 to 15 uA;(4)output voltage: 6.7 to 7.2 V;(5)low supply voltage mute: 6.9 to 8 V;(6)low supply voltage mute hysteresis: 0.1 to 1 V;(7)overvoltage protection threshold voltage: 18 to 22 V;(8)headroom voltage: 1.1 to 2.0 V;(9)power-on reset voltage: 4.1 to 5.8 V.
