The TDA8200 is designed as TV stereo decoder which combines the functions of audio dematrixing and stereo decoder for the european 2-carrier B/G system; moreover, the device also includes input and a stereophonic output for reception of the audio signal coming from the SCART connector as well as a monophonic input for multistandard applications.
TDA8200 has many features. The first one is identification of transmission mode. The second one is dematrixing of the stereo audio signal, with an internal programmable s-bus network for minimal crosstalk.
