TDA8200

The TDA8200 is designed as TV stereo decoder which combines the functions of audio dematrixing and stereo decoder for the european 2-carrier B/G system; moreover, the device also includes input and a stereophonic output for reception of the audio signal coming from the SCART connector as well as a monophonic input for multistandard applications.

TDA8200 has many features. The first one is identification of transmission mode. The second one is dematrixing of the stereo audio signal, with an internal programmable s-bus network for minimal crosstalk. The third one is de-emphasis of the audio signal without external components. The fourth one is filters for pseudostereo and enlarged stereo base special effects. The fifth one is monophonic input for multistandard applications. The sixth one is stereo input/output for VCR. The seventh one is volume and balance control for earphone output. The eighth one is all function programmable through use of s-bus. That are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings about TDA8200 have been concluded into several points as follow. The first one is about its analog supply voltage which would be max 10V. The second one is about its input voltage (all input) which would be from -0.3V to Vs+0.3V. The third one is about its input current (all input) which would be max 5mA. The fourth one is about its output current (all input) which would be max 10mA. The fifth one is about its storage temperature range which would be from -25°C to 125°C.

Also some DC characteristics about TDA8200. The first one is about its supply voltage which would be min 8V and typ 8.5V and max 9V. The second one is about its supply current which would be typ 30mA. The third one is about its supply voltage rejection (fripple = 100Hz) which would be typ 35dB. And so on.
