TDA8185

      TDA8185 is  monolithic intergrated circuit in 24 pins dual in line plastic package intended for TV signal processing and driving horizontal and vertical output stages, It was specially designed for VCR wirking conditions. TDA8185 has nine unique features which is as follows : The first one is 503 MHZ reference osciliator. The second one is 5.5 V supply voltage internally regulated. The third one is very sophisticated sync.separator. The forth one is count dowm timing logic.The fifth one is adapts automatically TO 625 line/50 Hz and 525 Line/60 Hz standards. The sixth one is 50/60 Hz indentification output. The seventh one is automatic vertical amplifier correction 50/60 Hz. The eighth one is CRT protected circuit. The ninth one is phase-corrected horizontal output with consitant duty cycle.
       There are some absolute maximum ratinga about TDA8185. Supply voltage at pin 24 (low impedance) is 5.25 V. Voltage at pins , 7, 15 ,21 is 20 V. Input singnals is 5 V. Total power disspation(Tamb is 70) is 1 W. Storage and junction temperature is -40 to 150 .
  Besides, there are also some electrical characteristics about it. Supply voltage(pin24) is 4.75 V min , 5 V typ and 5.25 V max. Supply current (pin 24 ) is 30 mA min , 60 mA typ and 85 mA max. Stabilized voltage at pin 24 is 5.6 V typ. Peak to peak input signal(negative video signal) is 0.3 V min , 1 V typ and 4 V max. VCR swithch voltage is 1.6 V min, 2.1 V typ and 2.4 V max . Threshold voltage for time constant switching is 2.3 V typ . Peak output current is 1 mA under the condition of lock. Output current is 25 A. Osciliator: Free running frequency is 500 KHz typ. Frequency control  sensitivity is 2.2 KHz/V typ. Control voltage range is 2.6 V to 4 V typ. Sync-osciliator phase comparator : Control peak current is ±0.3 mA. VCR control peak current is ±0.6 mA. catching and holding range is ±40 Hz. Flyback-oscikiator phase comparator : Control voltage range is 2.8 V to 3.7 V typ. Flyback input current is 0.1mA min . Flyback input threshold is 5 mA typ. Peak control current is ±0.5 mA.Static control error is 1%.
