The TDA8175 has the following features include:(1)power amplifier;(2)flyback generator;(3)automatic pumping compensation;(4)thermal protection;(5)reference voltage.The device incorporates a special preampliflier, the gain of which varies with changes in supply voltage.This function allows perfect compensation of height variations caused by changes in brightness.The thermal protection circuit intervenes when the die temperatures reaches 150°C and turns-off theoutput power device.
The absolute maximum ratings of the TDA8175 are:(1)total power disspation:20W;(2)storage and junction temperature: -40 to +150°C;(3)supply voltage:35V;(4)flyback peak voltage:60V.Stresses exceeding these listed under absolute maximum ratings may induce failure.Exposure to absolute maximum ratings for extended periods may reduce reliability.
