The S-2934AR is designed as a high speed, low power 4K-bit E2PROM that uses the CMOS floating-gate process. The organization is 256-word x16-bit, and it is read or written serially.
S-2934AR has seven features. (1)Low power consumption which means 2.0mA max for operating and 1.0uA max for standby. (2)Wide operating voltage range which would be from 2.7V to 6.5V for write and 1.8V to 6.5V for read. (3)Its word/chip erase operation. (4)Rewriting 10^4 or 10^5 times. (5)DAta retention 10 years. (6)Compatible with national semiconductor NMC93C66 (DIP). Those are all the main features.
Some absolute maximum ratings of S-2934AR have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its power supply voltage would be from -0.3V to 7V. (2)Its input voltage would be from -0.3V to Vcc+0.3V. (3)Its output voltage would be from -0.3V to Vcc. (4)Its storage temperature range under bias would be from -10°C to 85°C. (5)Its storage temperature range would be from -65°C to 125°C. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to S-2934AR.
