S-2900A

The S-2900A is designed as a wide operating voltage range, low power consumption 512-bit E2PROM. The organization is 64-word x8-bit and can be read or written serially. It is easily interfaced with a serial port because the instruction is composed of eight-bit units.

S-2900A has seven features. (1)Its operating voltage would be 1.5V to 5.5V for read and 2.7V to 5.5V for write. (2)Its power consumption would be 1uA max and read would be 1.4mA max at Vcc=5.5V and 0.4mA at Vcc=1.5V. (3)Its operating frequency would be 2MHz at Vcc=4.5V to 5.5V and 500kHz at Vcc=2.7V to 4.5V and 100kHz at Vcc=1.5V to 2.7V. (4)Memory configuration 512 bits. (5)Byte writing/byte reading. (6)Data retention 10 years. (7)Package is 8-pin DIP. Those are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings of S-2900A have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its power supply voltage would be from -0.3V to 7.0V. (2)Its input voltage would be from -0.3V to Vcc+0.3V. (3)Its output voltage would be from -0.3V to Vcc. (4)Its storage temperature under bias would be from -50°C to 95°C. (5)Its storage temperature range would be from -65°C to 150°C. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to S-2900A.

Also some electrical characteristics of S-2900A at Vcc=5.0V+/-10% are concluded as follow. (1)Its current consumption read would be max 1.4mA. (2)Its current consumption program would be max 3.0mA. (3)Its standby current consumption would be max 1.0uA. (4)Its input leakage current would be typ 0.1uA and max 1.0uA. (5)Its output leakage current would be typ 0.1uA and max 1.0uA. (6)Its low level output voltage would be max 0.1V for CMOS and max 0.45V for TTL. (7)Its high level output voltage would be min Vcc-0.7V for CMOS and would be min 2.4V for TTL. And so on.
