The TPB-5/5-15/1-D48 is designed as one kind of TRISIL devices,it is especially designed for protecting sensitive telecomminication equipment against lightning and transient voltages induced by AC power lines.They are available in the CB429 axial package.The TRISIL devices provide bidirectional protection by crowbar action.Their characteristic response to transient overvoltages makes them particularly suited to protect voltage sensitive teltcommunication equipment.
Features of the TPB-5/5-15/1-D48 are:(1)bidirectional crowbar protection;(2)voltage range:from 62 V to 270 V;(3)holding current:Ih=150 mA min;(4)repetitive peak pulse current:Ipp=100 A,10/1000 us;(5)UL recognized file #E136224.
