TORX100 General Description
The TORX100 is a kind of fiber optic receiving module for middle distance transmission. There are some features as follows: (1)data rate: DC to 20 Mb/s (NRZ code); (2)TTL interface; (3)JTS F01 (FC) type fiber optic connector; (5)ATC (automatic threshold control) circuit is used for stablized output at wide range of optical power level.
What comes next is about the maximum ratings (Ta=25): (1)storage temperature, Tstg: -40 to 85; (2)operating temperature, Topr: -40 to 85; (3)supply voltage, VCC: -0.5 to 7 V; (4)low level output current, IOL: 20 mA; (5)high level output current, IOH: -1 mA; (6)soldering temperature, Tsol: 260. Then is about the recommended operating conditions: (1)supply voltage, VCC: 4.75 V min, 5.0 V typ and 5.25 V max; (2)high level output current, IOH: -40A max; (3)low level output current, IOL: 1.6 mA max.
The following is about the electrical and optical characteristics (Ta=25, VCC=5 V): (1)data rate: DC to 20 Mb/s max at NRZ code; (2)maximum receivable power, PMAX: -17 dBm min when DC-20 Mb/s, BER10-9; (3)minimum receivable power, PMIN: -27 dBm max when DC-20 Mb/s, BER10-9; (4)pulse width distortion, tw: -25 ns min and 25 ns max at CL=10 pF, using TOED100; (5)current consumption, ICC: 25 mA typ and 40 mA max; (6)high level output voltage, VOH: 0.4 V max; (7)low level output voltage, VOL: 2.4 V min.
