The SB6030PT is designed as 60A schottky barrier rectifier.
It has seven features. (1) Schottky barrier chip. (2) Guard ring die construction for transient protection. (3) low power loss, high efficiency. (4) High surge capability. (5) High current capability and low forward voltage drop. (6) For use in low voltage, high frequency inverters, free wheeling, and polarity protection application. (7) Plastic material: UL flammability classification rating 94V-0. That are all the main features.
Some maximum ratings and electrical characteristics at Ta = 25°C unless otherwise specified (single phase, half wave, 60Hz, resistive or inductive load, for capacitive load, derate current by 20%) have been concluded into several points as follow. (1) Its peak repetitive reverse voltage would be 30V. (2) Its working peak reverse voltage would be 30V. (3) Its DC blocking voltage would be 30V. (4) Its RMS reverse voltage would be 25V. (5) Its average rectified output current would be 60°C at Tc=125°C. (6) Its non-repetitive peak forward surge current 8.3ms single half sine-wave superimposed on rated load (JEDEC Method) would be 500A. (7) Its forward voltage drop would be 0.62V at If=30A and Tc=25°C and would be 0.55V at If=30A and Tc=125°C and would be 0.75V at If=60A and Tc=25°C. (8) Its peak reverse current at rated DC blocking voltage would be 1.0mA at Tc=25°C and would be 50mA at Tc=100°C. (9) Its typical junction capacitance would be 650pF. (10) Its typical thermal resistance junction to case would be 1.0 K/W. (11) Its operating and storage temperature range would be from -55 to +150°C.
