S3C2412XL-26 General Description

The S3C2412XL-26 is one kind of 16/32-bit RISC microprocessor which designed to provide hand-held devices and general applications with cost-effective, low-power, and high-performance micro-controller solution in small die size.

Some points of features of the S3C2412XL-26 are:(1)instruction cache, data cache, write buffer and Physical address TAG RAM to reduce the effect of main memory bandwidth and latency on performance;(2)pseudo random or round robin replacement algorithm;(3)address space: 128M bytes for each bank (total 1G bytes);(4)fully Programmable access cycles for all memory banks;(5)4-ch 16-bit timer with PWM / 1-ch 16-bit internal timer with DMA-based or interrupt-based operation;(6)programmable duty cycle, frequency, and polarity;(7)maximum virtual screen size is 4 Mbytes;(8)loopback mode for testing;(9)compati-ble with multimedia card protocol version 2.11;(10)128 bytes (64-byte + 64-byte) FIFO for Tx/Rx;(11)serial, 8-/16-bit per channel data transfers;(12)5 endpoints for USB device.
