The QT8025PBK is designed as one kind of charge transfer capacitance sensor IC with a few inexpensive external parts it becomes a complete sensor capable of detecting femtofarad capacitance changes while fully cancelling large background levels of "Cx". Advanced signal processing permits robust detection while allowing a wide range of selectable built in operating modes. And this device can be used in fluid level sensing, security sensing, moisture detection, switch replacement, distance guaging, material properties analysis, human presence detection and collision avoidance, transducer drivers.
Features of the QT8025PBK are:(1)numerous auto-calibration modes;(2)multistage internal digital filtering;(3)200 us response time;(4)200 ns to 1.4us selectable drive pulse width;(5)psuedorandom burst mode;(6)programmable sensitivity, hysteresis, response time, digital filtering, detection mode, drift compensation;(7)analog sample gate control line;(8)status indication output;(9)shorted electrode detection;(10)only one external mosfet required.
