      The OVS5WBCR4 is designed as .5-watt SMD 6mm white (120° viewing angle) and would be an energy-efficient packaged LED source that offers high luminance, and a long operating lifespan. This device offers a 120° viewing angle and an ultra-low profile (1.5mm) making it highly suitable for conventional lighting and specialized applications.       It has four features.The first one is Robust energy-efficient design with long operating life.The second one is that it would have low thermal resistance.The third one is exceptional spatial uniformity.The last one is that it would have optional optics to suit application.That are all the features.Also its typical applications include automotive exterior and interior lighting, architectural indoor and outdoor lighting, general lighting and electronic signs and signals.
      Some absolute maximum ratings Ta = 25°C have been concluded into several points as follow.The first one is about its DC forward currentwhich would be 180mA.The second one is about its peak pulsed forward current which would be 500mA.The third one is about its reverse voltage which would be not designed for reverse bias.The fourth one is about its junction temperature which would be 125°C.The fifth one is about its power dissipation which would be 700mW.The sixth one is about its storage and operating temperature which would be from -40°C to +100 °C.The seventh one is about its ESD threshold (HBM) which would be 2000V.Notes about it.Pulse width tp <= 10s, Duty cycle = 0.1.Thermal conductivity = 18K/W for white.
