M75189AP General Description
The M75189AP is a semiconductor integrated circuit containing 4 line receivers for use with unbalanced digital data transmission, which meets EIA standards RS-232-C.
Features of the M75189AP are:(1)input characteristics meet EIA standards RS-232-C; (2)input resistance of 3k to 7kohms(Vi is -3 V to --25 V/3 V to 25V); (3)input voltage range from -30 V to +30 V; (4)input hysteresis is 1.0 V typ; (5)response control provides: input threshold shifting,input noise filtering; (6)output characteristics are conpatible with TTL circuits; (7)operates from single 5 V power supply.
The absolute maximum ratings of the M75189AP can be summarized as:(1): supply voltage(Vcc) is -0.5 V to +10 V; (2): input voltage(Vi) is -30 V to +30 V; (3): output current(Io) is 0 to 20 mA; (4): storage temperature range(Tstg) is -65 to +150; (5): power dissipation(Pd, DIP) is 1000 mW(Ta is 25).
