The ISO103 is a kind of isolation amplifier which provides both signal and power across an isolation barrier. It is packaged in the ceramic non-hermetic hybrid package with side-brazed pins which includes a transformer-coupled DC/DC converter and a capacitor-coupled signal channel. The typical applications include multichannel isolated data acquisition, isolated 4-20 mA loop receiver and power, power supply and motor control, ground loop elimination.
There are some features as follows: (1) signal and power in one double-wide (0.6") side-brazed package; (2) 5600 Vpk test voltage; (3) 1500 Vrms continuous AC barrier rating; (4) wide input signal range: -10 to +10 V; (5) wide bandwidth: 20 kHz small signal, 20 kHz full power; (6) built-in isolated power: ±10 to ±18 V input, ±50 mA output; (7) multichannel synchronization capability.
What comes next is about the absolute maximum ratings. (1): supply without damage is ±18 V; (2): VIN, sense voltage is ±50 V; (3): Com 1 to Gnd 1 or Com 2 to Gnd 2 is ±200 mV; (4): Enable, Sync is from 0 to +VCC2 V; (5): continuous isolation voltage is 1500 Vrms; (6): VISO, dv/dt is 20 kV/s; (7): output short to Gnd 2 duration is continuous; (8): ±VCC1 to Gnd 1 duration is continuous; (9): lead temperature,10s is 300; (10): storage temperature is from -25 to +125; (11): junction temperature is 150.
