The FH3308 is a highly integrated Hub Controller designed for mixed-media network.
There are some features as follows. First is eight 10BASE-T transceivers and one AUI port included in one single chip. The second is on-chip FIFO, PLL, Manchester encoder/decoder. Then is automatic polarity detection and correction. Next is automatic partitioning of faulty ports. Besides, rich-function LED drivers support for per port Link, Activity, partition, global Jabber, collision status and network utilization. The fifth is embedded pre-distortion resistor for every TP port. The sixth is low power CMOS technology with a single +5 V supply. The last one is 100-pin QFP.
What comes next is about the DC specifications. The minimum VOH (high level output voltage) is 2.4 V at IOH=-8 to -16 mA. The maximum VOL (low level output voltage) is 0.4 V at IOH=8 to 16 mA. The minimum VIH (high level input voltage) is 2.0 V when TTL input. The minimum VIL (low level input voltage) is 2.0 V when TTL input. The maximum IIN (input current) is ± 150 A with internal Pull-up and is ± 10 A without internal Pull-up. The maximum IOZ (TRI-STATE output leakage current) is ± 150 A with internal Pull-up and is ± 10 A without internal Pull-up.
