BA4112 General Description

The BA4112 is a kind of narrow band FM-IF detection IC that is designed to be used in FM tranceivers. The typical applications include VHF-band FM tranceivers and cordless telephones.

There are some features as follows: (1)available in a DIP16 package that is compatible with Motorola part NO MC3557P; (2)low power consumption: typically 3.0 mA; (3)limiting sensitivity is typically -3 dB at 5.0V; (4)circuit between 2nd mixer and detector output requires few external components, which allows smaller transceiver sizes.

The following is about the absolute maximum ratings: (1)power supply voltage, VCC: 12 V; (2)power dissipation, Pd: 500 mW and reduce power by 5 mW/ for each degree above 25; (3)operating temperature, Topr: -10 to +60; (4)storage temperature, Tstg: -25 to +75.
