The 40CPQ035PbF is designed as vishay high power products of schottky rectifier, 2 x 20 A and it has been optimized for very low forward voltage drop with moderate leakage. The proprietary barrier technology allows for reliable operation up to 150 °C junction temperature. Typical applications are in switching power supplies, converters, freewheeling diodes, and reverse battery protection.
It has eight features.The first one is it would have 150 °C Tj operation.The second one is It would be center tap TO-247 packaged.The third one is that it would habe very low forward voltage drop.The fourth one is that it would have high frequency operation.The fifth one is that it would have high purity, high temperature epoxy encapsulation for enhanced mechanical strength and moisture resistance.The sixth one is it would have guard ring for enhanced ruggedness and long term reliability.The seventh one is that it would be lead (Pb)-free ("PbF" suffix).The last one is it is designed and qualified for industrial level.That are all the features.
Some absolute maximum ratings have been concluded into several points as follow.The first one is about its maximum average forward current which would be 40 A with condition of 50 % duty cycle at Tc = 120 °C, rectangular waveform.The second one is about its Maximum peak one cycle non-repetitive surge current per leg which would be 3500A with condition of 5 s sine or 3 s rect. pulse and would be 430A with condition of 10 ms sine or 6 ms rect. pulse.The third one is about its non-repetitive avalanche energy per leg which would be 27 mJ with condition of Tj = 25 °C, Ias = 4 A, L = 3.4 mH.The fourth one is about its repetitive avalanche current per leg which would be 4A with condition of current decaying linearly to zero in 1 s and frequency limited by TJ maximum VA = 1.5 x VR typical.And so on.For more information please contact us.
