The 4071B is desgned to have quad 2-input OR.
It has three features.The first one is about its outputs which would be buffered outputs.The second one is that it would have a diode protection on all inputs of it which would avoid the harm from the unnormal inputs.The third one is that the customers would set their heart at rest that the "B"-series would be fully compatible.
Some important absolute maximum ratings and specifications have been concluded into several points.The first one is about its DC supply voltage which the Vdd and Vss which would be from 3 to 15 Vdc.The second one is about its operating temperature,which also be marked as Ta, which would has a minimum of -55°C and a maximum of +125°C for C and also would has a minimum of -40°C and a maximum of +85°C for E.The third one is about its quiescent device current which also be marked as Idd.When Vdd(Vdc) = 5 it would have a maximum of 0.05 uAdc at T(low) and have a typical of 0.0005 uAdc and a maximum of 0.05 uAdc at the room tempreture of +25°C and have a maximum of 1.5 uAdc at T(high). When Vdd(Vdc) = 10 it would have a maximum of 0.10 uAdc at T(low) and have a typical of 0.001 uAdc and a maximum of 0.10 uAdc at the room tempreture of +25°C and have a maximum of 3.0 uAdc at T(high). When Vdd(Vdc) = 15 it would have a maximum of 0.20 uAdc at T(low) and have a typical of 0.002 uAdc and a maximum of 0.20 uAdc at the room tempreture of +25°C and have a maximum of 6.0 uAdc at T(high).
Also some notes about the quiescent device current above should have attention.That is the T(low) would be -55°C for C and -40°C for E.Also the T(high) would be +125°C for C and +85°C for E
