XC1718D

The XC1718D is a kind of serial configuration PROM (SCP). The XC1718D provides an easy-to-use, cost-effective method for storing Xilinx FPGA configuration bitstreams.

There are some features of XC1718D as follows: (1)on-chip address counter, incremented by each rising edge on the clock input; (2)simple interface to the FPGA requires only one user I/O pin; (3)cascadable for storing longer or multiple bitstreams; (4)programmable reset polarity (active high or active low) for compatibility with different FPGA solutions; (5)low power CMOS EPROM process; (6)available in 5 V and 3.3 V versions; (7)available in plastic and ceramic packages, and commercial, industrial and military temperature ranges; (8)space efficient 8-pin DIP, 8-pin SOIC, 8-pin VOIC or 20-pin surface-mount packages; (9)programming support by leading programmer maufactures.
