The WM2148 is a 14-bit, 8 MSPS analogue to digitalconverter with an on-chip voltage reference, high bandwidthsample and hold amplifier and programmable gain. Theanalogue input is differential, giving excellent commonmodenoise immunity and low distortion.
The WM2148 is designed for use in highly integrated, lowpower3.3V systems. A high speed, microprocessorcompatible parallel interface allows control of the ADC inputgain, digital DC offset, internal / external reference andoutput data format. Both binary and two's complementformats are supported. The device also features an out ofrange indicator pin to show when the input signal exceedsthe converter's full-scale range.
In Power Down mode, all analogue circuitry is internallydisconnected from the power supply, reducing total supplycurrent to 20A.
The WM2148 is available in a 1mm thin 48-pin TQFPpackage in standard commercial and industrial temperatureranges.
