WD1100-06

The WD1100-06 ECC/CRC logic chip gives the user of the WD1100 series of chips easy ECC or CRC implementation. With proper software, it will provide signle burst correction up to 8 bits and double burst detection.The computer selected polynominal has been optimized for Winchester 5 1/4" and 8" drives with sector sizes up to 512 bytes.

WD1100-06 has some unique features: The first one is 32-bit computer selected polynominal.The second one is single burst correction to 8 bits.The third one is multiple burst detection.The forth one is single 5 V supply.The fifth one is 20 pin DIP package.The sixth one is CRC or ECC software selectable.The seventh one is TTL,MOS compatible, etc. Besides, there are also some absolute maximum ratings about it.Ambient temperature under bias is 0 to 50.Voltage on amy pin with respect to Vss is -0.2 V to 7.0 V. Power dissipation is 1 watt.
