The UPS5817E3  is one of the UPS5817 series.The UPS5817E3 is  a surface mount1A schottky rectifier.In microsemi's new powermite SMT package,these high efficiency ultrafast rectifiers offer the power handling capabilities previously found only in much larger packages.They are ideal for SMD applications that operate at high frequencies.Features of the UPS5817E3  are :(1)high power suface mount package; (2)guard ring protection; (3)low forward voltage; (4)integral heat sink/locking tabs; (5)compatible with automatic insertion equipment; (6)full metallic bottom eliminates flux entrapment.
