The UC5181 is designed as an USB camera module of SVGA resolution. It utilizes an advanced CMOS imager sensor as well as a sophisticate USB controller chip to provide excellent picture quality. UC5181 designs for maximum throughput of video image data enables host systems to acquire larger amouts of video information in a more real-time manner. An on-chip proprietary high-performance compression engine capable of a 8:1 compression ratio ensures fast image transfers from the image sensor to the PC. UC5181 supports 8 isochronous interface alternates of up to 7.5Mbps USB transfer rate. A plug and play software driver is provider for windows 98/Me applications.
