The TSM1013IDT is designed as a highly integrated solution for SMPS applications requiring CV (constant voltage) and CC (constant current) mode. It integrates one voltage reference and two operational amplifiers. The voltage reference combined with one operational amplifier makes it an ideal voltage controller. The other operational, combined with few external resistors and the voltage reference, can be used as a current limiter. Typical applications include adapters and battery chargers.
TSM1013IDT has five features. (1) Constant voltage and constant current control. (2) Low voltage operation. (3) Low external component count. (4) Current sink output stage. (5) Easy compensation. That are all the main features.
Some absolute maximum ratings of TSM1013IDT have been concluded into several points as follow. (1) DC supply voltage (50mA =< Icc) would be from -0.3V to Vz V. (2) Its input voltage would be from -0.3 to Vcc V. (3) Its storage temperature would be from -55 to 150°C. (4) Its junction temperature would be 150°C. (5) Its voltage reference output current would be 10mA. (6) Its electrostatic discharge would be 2KV. (7) Its thermal resistance junction to ambient mini SO8 package would be 180°C/W.
