The TLP115 is designed as a small outline coupler, suitable for surface mount assembly. It consists of a GaAAs light emitting diode, optically coupled to an integrated high gain, high speed shielded photo detector whose output is an open collector schottky clamped transistor. The shield, which shunts capacitively coupled common noise to ground, provides a guaranteed transient immunity specification of 1000V/s.
TLP115 has six features. (1)Input current thresholds: If=10mA (max). (2)Switching speed: 10MBd (typ). (3)Common mode transient immunity: +/-1000V/s (min). (4)Guaranteed performance over temp.: 0 to 70°C. (5)Isolation voltage: 2500Vrms (min). (6)UL recognized: UL1577, file no. E67349. Those are all the main features.
