TLN205 has three features. (1)High radiant intensity which would be typ 40mW/sr. (2)Excellent linearity of radiant intensity and modulation by pulse operation and high frequency is possible. (3)Coupling ratio with silicon detector is more excellent that GaAs (940mm) as much as 1.5 times. Those are all the main features.
