TAS5601

The TAS5601 is a 20-W (per channel) efficient,stereo digital amplifier power stage for driving 4 single-ended speakers, 2 bridge-tied speakers, or combination of single and bridge-tied loads. The TAS5601 can drive a speaker with an impedance as low as 4 Ω . The high efficiency, > 90% into 8- Ω loads,of the TAS5601 eliminates the need for an external heat sink.

The absolute maximum ratings of the TAS5601 can be summarized as:(1)Operating free-air temperature, T A : 40 to 85 ° C; (2)Operating junction temperature range, T J: 40 to 150 ° C; (3)Storage temperature range, T stg : 65 to 150 ° C; (4)Lead temperature 1.6 mm (1/16 inch) from case for 10 seconds :260 ° C.
