TAS5176

The TAS5176 is a high-performance, six-channel, digital-amplifier power stage with an improved protection system. The TAS5176 is capable of driving a 8- Ω , single-ended load up to 15 W per each front/satellite channel and a 4- Ω , single-ended subwoofer greater than 25 W at 10% THD+N performance.

Features of the TAS5176 are:(1)Total Output Power at 10% THD+N 5 * 15 W at 8 + 1 * 25 W at 4 (Single-Ended) 2 x 30 W at 8 (BTL) 1 x 40 W at 6 ? (BTL); (2)105-dB SNR (A-Weighted), with TAS5086 Modulator; (3)< 0.05% THD+N at 1 W; (4)Power Stage Efficiency > 90% Into Recommended Loads (SE); (5)Integrated Self-Protection Circuits Undervoltage Overtemperature Overload Short Circuit; (6)Integrated Active-Bias Control to Avoid DC Pop; (7)Footprint Compatible with the TAS5186A for Scaleable Designs; (8)Thermally Enhanced 44-pin HTSSOP Package with PowerPad located on the bottom of the device; (9)EMI-Compliant When Used With Recommended System Design.
