TA7324P

The TA7324P is a kind of muting IC which is developed for muting the poping sound made at power of one-off receivers, pre-amplifiers, amin amplifiers, and other electric audio equipment as well as the noise made at changeover of switches.

There are some features of TA7324P as follows: (1)to mute the poping noise made in the case of receiving frequency or changeover of signal source of tuners; (2)delay muting at power ON; (3)instant muting at power OFF; (4)only a single timing capacitor and a very few external parts are provided; (5)either positive or negative pulse is applicable to the input trigger. The terminals consist of the high sensitive input terminal (sensitive level of 120 mV) and the low sensitive input terminal (sensitive level of ±700 mV); (6)the operating power supply current is 5 mA min; (7)available for portable sets.

The following is about the maximum ratings about TA7324P (Ta=25): (1)supply voltage (V2-5), V2-5: 3.4 V; (2)supply current (I2), I2: 20 mA; (3)power dissipation, PD: 500 mW; (4)operating temeprature, Topr: -20 to 75; (5)storage temperature, Tstg: -55 to 150.

The last one is about the electrical characteristics of TA7324P (Ta=25, VCC=18 V, RB=1.5k): (1) supply terminal voltage, V2-5: 3.4 V min, 3.6 V typ and 3.8 V max; (2)detecting sensitivity at power OFF V4, V4 OFF: 0.75 V typ and 1.0 V max; (3)detecting current at power OFF, I4 OFF: 6A typ; (4)output saturation voltage at muting ON V7, V9, VCE(sat): 18 mV typ and 40 mV max; (5)maximum sink current I1, I9, Imax: 1.4 mA min and 1.6 mA typ; (6)terminal voltage (pin 1), V1: 1.5 V typ; (7)terminal voltage (pin 2), V2: 3.2 V min, 3.5 V typ and 3.6 V max; (8)terminal voltage (pin 3), V3: 1.4 V typ.
