The STK311-020 is designed as RDS demodulator hybrid IC for the ratio data system (RDS), or multiplexed FM broad-casting of various kinds of data, specified by the european broadcasing union (EBU). It demodulates the multiplexed data modulating signal to recover the RDS signal and recover the RDS signal and performs synchronization, error detection and error correction. It typical applications include car stereos, home stereos.
STK311-020 has four features. (1) 57kHz BPF built-in for adjustment free operation. (2) 4MHz ceramic oscillator element built-in. (3) Few external components required for a complete RDS/RBDS data demodulation system. (4) ARI-SK/DK decoder built-in. That are all the main features.
Some absolute maximum ratings of STK311-020 have been concluded into several points as follow. (1) Its maximum supply voltage would be 6.3V. (2) Its operating temperature range would be from -30°C to +85°C. (3) Its storage temperature range would be from -40°C to +100°C. (4) Its resommended supply voltage would be 5V.
